Charles-Olivier Roussel scored 3:38 into overtime Tuesday as the Saint John Sea Dogs defeated the Moncton Wildcats 2-1 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Stephen Anderson scored in regulation for Saint John (24-7-1), while Tomas Jurco and Zack Phillips each picked up two assists. Mathieu Corbeil made 30 saves for the win.
Olivier Daoust scored in regulation for Moncton (16-12-2), which got 28 saves from Roman Will.
In the only other game in the QMJHL it was: Rimouski 6, Gatineau 3.
At Moncton, N.B., Anderson opened the scoring at 13:33 of the first period before Daoust tied it 13:30 into the second.
Both teams finished the night 0-for-2 on the power play.
Oceanic 6, Olympiques 3
At Rimouski, Que., Alexandre Mallet had two goals and two assists as the Oceanic (18-14-0) powered past Gatineau (14-11-4).
