DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. -- Xavier Ouellet and Cedrick Paquette scored in the shootout Wednesday as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada defeated the Drummondville Voltigeurs 3-2 in the lone game in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Emil Sylvegard had the only goal in the shootout for Drummondville.
After Paquette scored in the sixth round, it was up to the Voltigeurs' Jerome Verrier to extend things, but he couldn't beat Armada goalie Etienne Marcoux.
Ouellet and Jess Tanguy scored in regulation for Blaineville-Broisbriand (15-13-2), while Raphael Pouliot picked up two assists. Marcoux made 32 saves in regulation and overtime to get the win.
Tommy Giroux and Jerome Raymond replied for Drummondville (12-14-4) with goals in regulation. Domenic Graham started in net for the Voltigeurs, stopping all 10 shots he faced.
Giroux came out for the second period and allowed two goals on 18 shots the rest of the way.
The Armada finished 1-for-4 on the power play, while the Voltigeurs wound up 2-for-6.
