EDMONTON, Alberta (AP)—The Edmonton Oilers have recalled center Ryan O'Marra(notes) from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old has four goals, four assists and 40 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Barons this season.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound O'Marra appeared in 21 games with the Oilers last season, collecting a goal and four assists.
The Oilers said Monday that star center Taylor Hall(notes) will miss up to a month with a left shoulder injury.
The first overall pick at the 2010 draft was hurt Saturday in Colorado when he was hit along the boards by Avalanche defenseman Ryan Wilson(notes).
