VANCOUVER -- Montreal Alouettes tackle Josh Bourke captured the Gibson's Finest CFL Most Outstanding Lineman honour Thursday night.
Bourke received the award in voting conducted by the Football Reporters of Canada and the CFL's eight head coaches.
Jovan Olafioye of the B.C. Lions was the finalist.
The six-foot-seven, 315-pound Bourke, a native of Windsor, Ont., helped anchor an Alouettes offensive line that allowed an East Division-low 34 sacks before sustaining a late-season injury.
Montreal also led the CFL in scoring (28.6 points per game), total offence (403.8 yards per game) and passing (309 yards per game).
