Kessel left practice Friday early because he was "banged up" according to a report on Toronto's Sportsnet 590 The Fan.
He took several hard hits Thursday night but coach Ron Wilson said he should be fine to go Saturday against Pittsburgh. Kessel continues to lead the NHL in scoring and is tied with James Neal(notes) of the Pens for the goal lead.
