Nathan Pancel hopes today's game caught the attention of NHL scouts.
Pancel scored scored two goals and two assists while Johan Mattsson stopped 28 shots to lead the Sudbury Wolves over the Brampton Battlion 4-1 Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.
"It's been a busy year for me and heading into my draft year, I have to keep working hard," said Pancel after his four point performance.
Matthew Campagna chipped in with a goal and an assist while Gregory Jambrosich rounded out the Wolves (7-6-1) scoring with a single goal.
Brandon Robinson was the lone goal scorer for the Battalion (8-5-2).
Keegan Wilson made 20 saves for the loss.
Sudbury went 1-for-5 on the power play while Brampton failed to score on five opportunities with the man advantage.
Elsewhere in the OHL, it was: London 3, Sarnia 2 (SO); Owen Sound 5, Windsor 1 and Mississauga Oshawa.
At Brampton, Ont., Sudbury took a 1-0 lead, 2:44 into the second period, when Pancel scored on the power play off a set up from Joshua Leivo.
"That was a great pass from Joshua (Leivo). He set me up. I have to give him credit for that," said Pancel after the game.
Robinson tied the game for the Battalion at 4:37 before goals from Campagna and Jambrosich made it 3-1 Sudbury heading into the third period.
Pancel's scored his second goal of the game at 15:56 of the third period and sealed the Wolves' victory.

At London, Ont., Seth Griffith and Matt Rupert scored in the shootout to lift the Knights (13-2-1) over Sarnia (11-2-3).
