Paul Tracy looks set for a return to the IZOD IndyCar Series for the first time since his (all too brief) outing at Edmonton.

After running at four events with the Dragon Racing squad as well as with Dreyer & Reinbold in the Indianapolis 500, the Canadian veteran is expected to return to D&R to drive in the final two oval races at the Kentucky and Las Vegas Speedways next month in the team's No. 22 Dallara, as a fill-in for the injured Justin Wilson. Italy's Giorgio Pantano  raced the No. 22 at Sonoma and Baltimore, and is expected to drive it again on the Motegi road course on Sept. 18, before giving way to Tracy for the final two races of the season.

In his six starts this year, Tracy has a best finish of 12th in the second half of the Texas doubleheader.
