This week's Phoenix Coyotes-Calgary Flames trade became complete Wednesday when center Daymond Langkow passed his physical.
He had missed nearly all of last season with a serious neck injury suffered in the 2009-10 season. He returned for the final four games.
The Coyotes sent winger Lee Stempniak to the Flames in the deal.
