{allcanada} OILERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH FREE AGENT FORWARD GREEN

The Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with forward Josh Green on a one-year, two-way contract.

The 33-year-old forward split time last season between the Anaheim Ducks and Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.

Green played in 12 NHL games with the Ducks last season and he also skated in 69 games with the Crunch recording 15 goals and 46 points.

The Camrose, Alberta native has already had one stint with the Oilers where he played from 2001-2003.

Overall he has played in 334 career NHL games with the Oilers, Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks.

Green was originally a 2nd round draft pick, 30th overall, by the Kings in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.
