Winnipeg Blue Bombers linebacker Joe Lobendahn will not be fined for his hit on Toronto Argonauts quarterback Cleo Lemon on Saturday.
In the first quarter, Lemon scrambled out of the pocket and ran 15 yards downfield before being tackled by Lobendahn, who made contact with the quarterback's head. As a result of the hit, Lemon's helmet flew off and he suffered nerve damage in one of his teeth.
No penalty was called on the play but Lemon was forced out of the game and did not return.
Lobendahn was also injured in Saturday's game and will be replaced by Marcellus Bowman when the Blue Bombers host the B.C. Lions on Thursday (TSN, 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt)
