TULSA, Okla. -- Former Toronto Raptors sharp-shooter Tracy Murray is joining Teresa Edwards' coaching staff with the WNBA's Tulsa Shock.
Edwards said Monday that Murray "brings next level experience to our team and balances our basketball intensity while providing post experience."
Murray's first game as a Shock assistant will be Thursday night against Chicago.
Murray played 12 seasons in the NBA for six different teams, and then served as a radio broadcaster for UCLA men's basketball.
Murray played for the Raptors in 1995-96, and then returned to Toronto in 2000-02.
