The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with defenceman Randy Jones on a one-year, $1.15-million contract.
The 29-year-old defender scored one goal and added 12 assists in 61 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2010-11.
He missed the final 16 games of the season and eight playoff games due to an ankle injury.
Jones has scored 19 goals and added 84 assists in 326 career NHL games with Philadelphia, Tampa Bay and Los Angeles.
He is coming off a one-year $1 million deal he signed with Tampa Bay in 2010.
