The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed import receiver Alex Watson to a contract today.
The Blue Bombers also announced that they have placed non-import safety Brady Browne and non-import receiver Kito Poblah on the nine-game injured list.
Watson attended training camp with the Blue Bombers and caught one pass for six yards in the preseason. He was a big part of the offense at Northern Arizona and finished his collegiate career with 194 receptions for 2,250 yards and 22 touchdowns. He was a first team All-Big Sky that season and a second team All-Big Sky as a senior.
Watson last played for the Amarillo Dusters of the Arena 2 league in 2009.
