[SurroundSound] The Who - Quadrophenia Surround

Hi Guys;
I haven't been around much lately and so excuse me if this is old
news, but I just heard on my local radio station that Townshend has a
Quadrophenia box set project in the works. A brief search turned up
this June 2, 2011 Rolling Stones article: "Pete Townshend has posted a
rare blog entry to announce a new Quadrophenia box set that's coming
out in October. I am shut away in my home studio at the moment working
to restore the demos of Quadrophenia. Bob Pridden is doing surround-
sound mixes of selected tracks. Jon Astley is remastering the original
vinyl mix, and evaluating his own 1996 remix (the one where you can
properly hear Roger's astonishing vocals). I am sitting in a pile of
notes, desk diaries, photos (I took a lot of my own between 1971-1973
when Quadrophenia emerged), original lyrics and writing liner notes."

Quadrophenia is one of my desert island disks, so I am eager to hear
how the surround comes out.

Again, sorry if this is old news and I missed the thread. Lots of
surround activity since Petty, Rush, Floyd etc made the news....
