there. Every mix I've ever done would sound completely different.
Even if you had a vocal placed right in the middle of a mix, with very
little reverb, there's no way you're going to be able to lift that
vocal off a stereo source without taking instrumental remnants in that
same frequency range with you. there's plenty of programs out there
that will claim they can do that for you, and every single one of them
is lying to you.
What are you trying to accomplish with this? Depending on what you're
doing, perhaps there's more than one way to skin a cat.
