The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Jay Rosehill to a one-year, one-way contract worth $600,000.
The hard-nosed winger played 26 games for Toronto in 2010-11 scoring one goal and two assists and racking up 71 penalty minutes.
The 25-year-old Rosehill has bounced between the Leafs and the AHL's Toronto Marlies over the past two seasons, playing a total of 41 games in the NHL.
The Leafs acquired Rosehill via trade in 2009 for future considerations. He was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the seventh round, 227th overall in 2003.
