The Vancouver Canucks have signed restricted free agent Maxim Lapierre to a two-year deal worth $2-million.
Lapierre scored six goals and six assists in 78 during the regular season last year. He also provided three goals and two assists during the Canucks playoff run.
The St-Leonard, Quebec native was originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
In 333 career games, the 26-year-old has 41 goals and 84 points.
