EDMONTON - An Edmonton-area man is the sole Canadian contestant hoping to win the heart of the latest Bachelorette.
Chris Malhomme, 27, is a Gibbons, Atla., businessman who will vie for the affections of Ashley Hebert on the popular ABC show.
He's among a group of 25 suitors.
Malhomme describes himself on the Bachelorette website as smart, funny, and fearless.
He says he admires his mom.
"She had to raise two kids in a grain elevator with no money," he said.
"She made it and has done well."
Malhomme said the most adventurous thing he has ever done was book a trip to Asia a week before leaving, without making plans.
He hopes to be living on a beach in five years and has two tattoos.
The series airs May 23.
