Curtis Hamilton scored two goals and added an assist and Steven Stanford made 30 saves as the Saskatoon Blades hammered the Prince Albert Raiders 8-0 in Western Hockey League action Saturday.
Saskatoon leads their first round series 3-2 with Game 6 going Sunday night in Prince Albert.
After a scoreless first period the Blades exploded for six goals in the second and cruised to the easy win.
Duncan Siemens and Brayden Schenn added a goal and three assists for Saskatoon, Stefan Elliott, Marek Viedensky, Darian Dziurzynski and Jake Trask also counted.
Elsewhere in the WHL it was, Medicine Hat 9 Brandon 5 and Spokane 6 Chilliwack 4.
At Saskatoon, the Blades power play was lethal going 5-8, while the Raiders couldn't convert with seven opportunities.
Prince Albert's Jamie Tucker made 35 saves through two periods. Eric Williams turned away 11-of-13 shots the rest of the way.

Tigers 9, Wheat Kings 5
At Medicine Hat, Alta., Emerson Etem scored two goals and added an assist as the Tigers beat Brandon in a wild game.
The Tigers lead their first round series 3-2 with Game 6 going Monday in Winnipeg.
Curtis Valk, Linden Vey, Cole Grbavac, Kale Kessy, Wacey Hamilton, Hunter Shinkaruk and Scott McKay also scored.
Michael Ferland, Matt MacKay, Shayne Wiebe, Scott Glennie and Brodie Melnychuk replied for the Wheat Kings.
Deven Dubyk made 29 saves in goal for the Tigers. Corbin Boes turned away 30 shots in goal for the Wheat Kings.

Chiefs 6, Bruins 4
At Spokane, Wash., Blake Gal scored a hat trick as the Chiefs beat Chilliwack to close out their first round playoff series in five games.
Mitch Holmberg scored a pair for Spokane, while Levko Koper added a goal and two assists.
Dylen McKinlay had two goals for Chilliwack. Kevin Sundher scored and added two assists, while Robin Soudek also counted.
James Reid made 21 saves for Spokane, while Lucas Gore turned away 37 shots.
