I'm not totally up on all the steely dan releases, but I feel like most of their quad offerings have been offered at least a couple of different times with different extractions.   Are you a member of the hub?  If you are,  I can check and see what stuff of theirs I have in my "share" at home.   Interested?   I am pretty sure I have at least some of their 4 channel releases.   Actually, now that I think of it, you should check the Dreaming Spires blog.   Pretty sure all of their matrixed stuff was QS, and OD's QS extractions are going to be as good as they will ever get.  Can't recall if their stuff was available on reel, there were definitely Q8's, which do sound a little muddy if you weren't lucky enough to find a cartridge in good shape.

I've been a Dan fan since 1972.  Would kill to get a good 4-channel version of their work.  The Steely Dan quad rips floating around the net and the hub are simply awful.  Sounds like the frequencies roll off around 9k hertz.  Muddy.  Does anyone know of a high-quality sounding multitrack discrete version of their early work?
