EDMONTON - Mark Reners scored twice as the Edmonton Oil Kings defeated the Calgary Hitmen 7-1 in the lone game in the WHL on Monday night.

Stephane Legault, Klarc Wilson, Dylan Wruck, Jordan Hickmott and Mike Piluso had the other goals for Edmonton (29-28-7). Laurent Brossoit stopped 20 shots.

Chase Clayton replied for Calgary (19-39-5). Mike Snider and Brandon Glover combined to make 29 saves.
