Re: [SurroundSound] Steely Dan - Possible (Probable) 1974 Quad radio broadcast

Sansui,  that might be QS.   I will download it and check out a couple of tracks.   Wouldn't want to step on any toes either, however, it must be said that Oxford Dickies new scripts kick butt.   At the moment, I am actually working on a QS source that I can never seem to finish, as it has some "old age" problems I am trying to clean up. If it weren't for the newer QS scripts that he made, I wouldn't even be attempting it.  OD knows his stuff.   When I check out a track or two I will let you know what I find.  - CP

Subject: [SurroundSound] Steely Dan - Possible (Probable) 1974 Quad radio broadcast

The following boot is from the master tapes of a Steely Dan performance at the record plant: http://qualitybootz.blogspot.com/2009/04/steely-dan-record-plant-1974-pre-fm.html An announcement is made at the end thanking the "Sansui Quad people". I see on QuadraphonicQuad that in 2009 romanotrax had decoded this for a future disc, who said it was mainly studio ambience bit a good listen. Wouldn't want to step on Bob's toes, but maybe this is a prime candidate for the newer scripts? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SurroundSound" group.
