ASPEN, Colo. -- Canada's Kevin Hill captured a silver medal in the snowboard cross at the Winter X Games on Saturday.
The Vernon, B.C., native finished in a time of one minute 29.856 for his first podium finish.
Nick Baumgartner won the gold in 1:29.700, while American teammate Nate Holland, who was gunning for his sixth straight X Games victory, took the bronze in 1:30.026.
Snowboard cross is a downhill course more than 1,000 metres long, filled with tabletop jumps, banked turns, rollers and gaps.
