MONTREAL -- It's a soggy day in Montreal -- but there are sunny spirits outside.
Despite the grey skies, boisterous crowds are gathered along the city's traditional parade route to toast the CFL Grey Cup champions.
The Montreal Alouettes are rolling on flatbed trucks down Ste-Catherine Street for their victory parade, en route to an outdoor rally.
The Als won their second straight championship on the weekend but it's unclear whether the team will manage to remain intact to challenge for a third next year.
A number of key players are eligible to become free agents this year -- including star Anthony Calvillo.
The quarterback is also dealing with a health scare and will have surgery to remove a lesion in his throat.
At last year's parade, tens of thousands of people swarmed the city's downtown streets and sang the Spanish sports chant, "Ole, ole, ole," which is popular at Montreal events.
