TORONTO -- Prince Albert Raiders forward Jonathan Parker was named Canadian Hockey League player of the week Tuesday.
Parker recorded nine points (four goals, five assists) in three games last week. He also had a plus-5 rating.
Jean-Gabriel Pageau of the Gatineau Olympiques and Colin Behenna of the Barrie Colts were also considered.
Halifax Mooseheads rookie Anthony Terenzio was named CHL goaltender of the week.
He posted three victories and had one shutout last week. He had a 0.86 goals-against average and .971 save percentage over the stretch.
Tyler Bunz of the Medicine Hat Tigers and Philipp Grubauer of the Kingston Frontenacs were also considered.
