BRAMPTON, Ont. -- Philip Lane had two goals and an assist as the Brampton Battalion defeated the Kingston Frontenacs in OHL action Friday afternoon.
Ryan Spooner, on the power play, and Jeff Braithwaite put Kingston ahead by the 8:41 mark of the first period before Lane registered his first goal of the game.
Zach Bell tied it 36 seconds into the second, converting a pass from Barclay Goodrow. Goodrow put Brampton ahead at 12:20, beating Franky Palazzese with a wrist shot. Former Battalion forward Sean Jones tied the game at 16:01.
Lee scored the winning goal at 4:50 of the third before Scott Tanski rounded out the scoring with an empty-net marker in the final minute.
Palazzese stopped 36 shots for the Frontenacs while Brampton's Cody St. Jacques turned aside 30 shots.
