MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Twins first baseman Justin Morneau says there is no doubt in his mind he will be ready for spring training.
The New Westminster, B.C., native is recovering from a concussion that ended his season in July. He says he is feeling better every day and is getting ready to start pre-spring training workouts in Arizona.
Morneau spoke on Saturday after signing autographs at Target Field as part of his winter coat drive. Morneau says two months ago there was no way he could have sat through an extended signing like he did on Saturday.
