the front runner right now. I also have another request. I have
decided to sell my current sub-woofer and upgrade. Again, does anyone
have any recommendations that pound for pound will sound deep and
rich, can handle, and won't break my bank? Right now I have the old
Klipsch Synergy series from the mid 90's.
I have 4 full towers KSF 10.5, the large center channel KSF C5, and
the KSW 200 200w sub.
I know this isn't top of the line, but for a guy on a budget, my
system still blows all of my friends out of the water and is a great
introduction to surround sound/audiophile. My gripe is that the sub
from this series just doesn't grab my guts the way I know it should.
There has been endless fiddling with crossover points, placement,
phasing, volume, even socks in the bass port! I need something a
little tighter and more defined, yet has that ultra low depth, without
that boominess.
Thanks!!
