Sven Bartschi scored twice and Ty Rattie, Taylor Aronson and Ryan Johansen all had a pair of assists to lead the Portland Winterhawks over the Lethbridge Hurricanes 6-2 in Western Hockey League play on Sunday night.
Bartschi scored the first goal of the game and his first of the season and then scored on the power play in the third period.
Brendan Leipsic, on a penalty shot, Troy Rutkowski, Riley Boychuck and Brad Ross also scored for Portland (3-1-1).
Elsewhere in the WHL it was: Edmonton 3 Moose Jaw 2, and Saskatoon 4 Brandon 3.
At Portland, the Winterhawks went 2-7 with the man advantage while killing off all seven Lethbridge power plays.
Alex Kuvaev and Austin Fyen scored for Lethbridge (2-2-1).
Hurricanes goalie Brandon Anderson made 33 saves, while Keith Hamilton stopped 30 shots for Portland.
Oil Kings 3 Warriors 2
At Edmonton, Jordan Hickmott had a short-handed goal as the Oil Kings edged Moose Jaw.
Kristians Pelss and Marek Hrbas also scored for Edmonton (3-2-0).
Spencer Edwards scored on a penalty shot for Moose Jaw (1-4-0), while Nathan MacMaster added a single.

Blades 4 Wheat Kings 3
At Saskatoon, Josh Nicholls scored the winning goal at 18:36 of the third period as the Blades beat Brandon.
Matej Stransky, Curtis Hamilton and Marek Viedensky also scored for Saskatoon (4-1-0).
Mark Stone, Jason Swyripa and Paul Ciarelli replied for Brandon (4-2-0).
