NEW DELHI -- Marilou Dozois-Prevost of Montreal has captured gold in weightlifting's 53-kilogram class at the Commonwealth Games.
She lifted a total of 182 kilograms -- 82 in the snatch and 100 in the clean and jerk.
Onyeka Azike of Nigeria won silver with 180 kilograms.
Malaysia's Raihan Yusoff won the bronze with 175 kilograms.
The 24-year-old Dozois-Prevost won silver at the Games four years ago in Melbourne, Australia, eight months after she was a passenger on the Air France flight that crashed at Toronto's Pearson Airport.
The Canadian finished 12th at the recent world championships.
