[SurroundSound] Got an ISO with a M2TS file - plays in BluRay but not DVD...

So I am trying to transcode with VLC, but it's a near realtime
process; into WMA/WMV. Presuming this won't work (ah. the pessimist
in I) anyone else encountered this - just want to play this one in a
DVD player. It's the OOP Quad mix of Garfunkel's Angel Claire.
