Re: [SurroundSound] rapidshare replacement

Hi Noreltny, just an FYI on rapidshare, I let my account expire a while back also but you can still download files as a free user. You can download 1 file every 15 to 30 minutes ( if you click on a download too soon it will tell how long you have before you can start another download)  it can be a bit of a pain for multliple files, but it does work if you are patient.

Subject: [SurroundSound] rapidshare replacement

I let my rapidshare subscription expire and I'm no longer interested in their service after they changed the way it works. However, many filesharing websites still use rapidshare.

My personal copy of Al Di Meola's Splendido Hotel got damaged in our car's CD player and it is no longer usable. And I just discovered that my ripped version is a lossy MP3. I must have ripped it long ago, because for the past 5 or 6 years I've ripped everything using lossless codecs. So I searched demonoid and avaxhome for a replacement to download. Avaxhome has it, but you need a rapidshare or "Express downloads" account to download. Never heard of "express downloads" before. Does anyone have any experience with them?
