SHAWINIGAN, Que. -- Nicolas Dionne scored the winning goal and Jonathan Brunelle added two assists as the undefeated Drummondville Voltigeurs held on for a 3-2 win over the Shawinigan Cataractes in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Thursday.
Lars Lundin and Marc-Olivier Vachon also scored for the Voltigeurs, who improved to 7-0-0. Drummondville is currently the top-ranked team in the Canadian Hockey League, which also included the Ontario Hockey League and Western Hockey League.
Marc-Antoine Goyette and Maximilien Le Sieur replied for Shawinigan (3-3-1).
Guillaume Nadeau stopped 18 shots for Drummondville, while Gabriel Girard made 33 saves for Shawinigan.
