Johnny Reid returned to a place he's very familiar with - No. 1 on the Canadian album charts.
The Nashville-based singer-songwriter's disc "Place Called Love" moved up from the No. 2 slot, selling 12,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan numbers.
It has now sold over 70,000 since its release four weeks ago.
Eminem's "Recovery" (9,000) moved up to the No. 2 position from No. 3 last week, Santana's "Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time" (8,500) had the top debut at No. 3, and the top effort in the land last week -- Linkin Park's "Thousand Suns" dropped down to No. 4.
Maroon 5's "Hands All Over" premiered at No. 5, Selena Gomez and the Scene's "Year Without Rain" checked in at No. 6, while Roch Voisine's "Americana" sank three notches to No. 7.
Finishing up the top 10 was Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" at No. 8, the "NOW 16" collection at No. 9, and Robert Plant's "Band of Joy" at No. 10.
In the U.S., Zac Brown Band's "You Get What You Give" (153,000) entered in first, followed by Maroon 5 in second, Linkin Park in third, Selena Gomez in fourth, and Santana in fifth.
