So I'm ripping a few vinyls that I haven't yet seen around... including the one from Paul G. I wanted to get the general interest in another item I have.
David Bowie's Serious Moonlight Tour was broadcast on HBO in "Surround Sound" (SQ/TATE) in 1983. The concert was released on beta, VHS, and LD in 1984 complete with the SQ soundtrack. The concert has since been re-released on DVD with a remixed ambient 5.1 soundtrack. Unfortunately my copy (fairly expensive on ebay years ago) is VHS (in my opinion the least of the 3 formats). Also, I haven't decoded the audio in a few years, so I don't remember how aggressive the quad is... but I was thinking about ripping the VHS, having the audio decoded, and mastering a DVD copy for quad fans.
So who is interested?
