{allcanada} SCOTIABANK OFFERS KID CAPTAIN EXPERIENCE FOR CFL FANS

Scotiabank has announced the official launch of a once-in-a-lifetime CFL experience for kids between the ages of 7 - 14. The Scotiabank Kid Captain experience allows young football enthusiasts the chance to participate in pre-game and on-field festivities including the coin toss, to help kick-off the game with their CFL home team throughout the season.

"This year, football fans across Canada can expect a season full of unique opportunities to make their football experience more engaging," said Rick White, Scotiabank Vice-President, Marketing. "Scotiabank Kid Captain will give kids the opportunity to feel the excitement of participating in their favourite teams' home game and playoffs, Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic and even the Grey Cup."

Highlights of the Scotiabank Kid Captain experience include:
* Four (4) tickets to a selected home game;
* Being on-field for the Coin Toss at mid-field prior to the start of the game;
* Official Team Jersey with the Scotiabank Kid Captain patch;
* Merchandise Prize Pack;
* And more!

TSN will also feature Scotiabank Kid Captain participants during in-game coverage in select games throughout the season as part of a media agreement that will also showcase football families as part of a "Show Your Colours" segment during regular season Friday broadcasts.

"Much like the CFL, Scotiabank is truly committed to the communities in which it lives, works and plays," said CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon. "It's great to see that through this partnership Scotiabank and the CFL are continuing to give back to our communities, specifically our younger generation of fans."

In September, two Scotiabank Kid Captains will be selected to participate in Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic in Moncton, NB at the first regular season CFL game to be played on the East Coast. Two additional Captains will be selected to participate in the 2010 Grey Cup in Edmonton, AB. These winners will also receive:

* Four (4) game tickets, transportation and accommodation to the event;
* A pre-paid Scotiabank Payment Card (valued at $300);
* An official Team Jersey with the Scotiabank Kid Captain patch; and
* A Merchandise Prize Pack
