The Vancouver Canucks have acquired defenceman Noah Juulsen and forward Juho Lammikko from the Florida Panthers in exchange for Olli Juolevi, the team announced Sunday.
Across the 48 regular-season games Juulsen has played throughout his career, split between the Panthers and Montreal Canadiens, he has scored two goals and assisted on six others. The 24-year-old was originally drafted 26th overall in 2015 by the Canadiens.
Lammikko was drafted the year before, going 65th overall to the Panthers. In 44 games with Florida last season, he registered four goals and one assist.
"We're pleased to welcome Noah and Juho to Vancouver," Jim Benning, general manager of the Canucks, said in a statement. "We would also like to thank Olli for his years of service with the Canucks organization and we wish him well in his future endeavours."
In Juolevi the Panthers get a 23-year-old who appeared in 23 games for the Canucks last season, recording three points, and was signed to a one-year, $750,000 contract at the start of August. Juolevi made his NHL debut during the Canucks' Stanley Cup qualifying series during the 2020 playoffs.
Juolevi was selected by the Canucks with the fifth-overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft. The defenceman has played in 63 AHL games in two seasons with the Utica Comets, scoring three goals and 38 points.
