The Vancouver Canucks had two of the "ruffest" races in the NHL this season.

Vancouver held intermission dog races twice before the pause, with Tanner Pearson's pup Emma and Jake Virtanen's Goldendoodle Donny claiming victory.

 

Sealed with a kiss

Brock Boeser proved you're never too old to kiss your dad.

The Canucks forward shared a heartfelt moment with his dad, Duke, who has endured Parkinson's disease, lung cancer and a heart attack, after Vancouver's 4-1 win against the Minnesota Wild on Jan. 12.

 

Mini Markstrom

Jacob Markstrom saw his reflection in January, and it was adorable.

The Canucks goalie met and gave autographed hats to Kai Chaboyer, a 10-year-old superfan who dressed up as Markstrom at a Canucks practice in Florida in January.
