The Vancouver Canucks have inked goaltender Arturs Silovs to an entry-level deal, the club announced Friday.
Silovs was drafted 156th overall by the club in the 2019 NHL Draft.
The 18-year-old suited up for both HK Riga and HS Riga during the 2018-19 season, posting a .920 save percentage with the former and a .914 with the latter.
He also represented his native Latvia at the World U18 Championship last season, finishing among the tournament's top five in save percentage with a mark of .918.
