Bryan Adams ended his concert in Melbourne on Thursday night playing to a half-empty Rod Laver Arena due to a mix-up with venue staff.
Hundreds of fans went home at the show's intermission because ushers and managers thought the gig was over – but the headliner was only halfway through his set.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, staff at the arena didn't realize the Canadian rocker had shuffled his set around and decided to play all his hits at the start of the show so he could could focus on newer material after the break.
That meant half the audience missed Bryan's performance of new songs like Ultimate Love and Shine a Light, which were both co-written by Ed Sheeran.
Bryan scrapped a show in Christchurch, New Zealand on Sunday out of respect for victims of the tragic mosque terror attacks last week.
