For hsbs or hou 3d movies your tv set is ok,but for watching real 3d HD you need a 4k 3d tv set and a suitable android or windows based tv box.

It is true,4k 3d tv s are hard to find now.

Even if you point of interests is more music than films. In older article I asked for tips for specially musicplayer, that support

I have a BR-Player (OPPO BDP 93 EU) but you cant get access to a NAS with it.
I don`t own a 4K-TV either because I like 3D film, so I´m satisfied with my configuration up to now.
All my devices are connected with my AVR (DENON X4400H), so I can listen and watch, what I like/love.

Afterwards I would say, I had to take a YAMAHA A2070 instead of my DENON, but I looked to heavy at AURO 3D and, the DENON was much cheaper than the YAMAHA ...

I got my Hk1 mini, also a TV topbox today, will install it tomorrow. My setup is like this :
PC with 7TB external space where all my surround music is on.
The PC is connected via a LAN to the mediaplayer. The mediaplayer is connected through the receiver to the TV.
Niw what ca you do : the operating System is Android 8.1. So actually you have a smartphone without the phone part. Non smart tv's are now smart. YouTube,, Netflix, actually every apk from the Play store can be used. The device passes through HD audio formats like DTS HD or Dolby True HD.
I upmixed in another pc in my network. I stream it to the nediaplayer to listen in the HTS. I hope it can do the same as the Dune did : playing back 5.1 in 24/96.
