James Hinchcliffe and the girl he took to prom are tying the knot. The announcement tweet had fans and other drivers feeling all gushy Monday afternoon.

Hinchcliffe and actress Becky Dalton who was HInchcliffe's last-minute prom date in their native Canada in 2004, reconnected after Hinchcliffe's life-threatening crash during Indianapolis 500 practice in 2015. They started dating in 2016 and took the next step with announcement of their engagement.

Now, as Dalton joked, she's got a life sentence.
