The Vancouver Canucks have shuffled their hockey operations department, hiring Ian Clark to be their goaltending coach.
Clark returns to Vancouver after seven seasons spent with the Columbus Blue Jackets. As the Blue Jackets goaltending coach, he helped oversee the rise of Sergei Bobrovsky into a two-time Vezina Trophy winner.
Dan Cloutier has been moved into the role of director of goaltending, while Doug Jarvis has been named a senior advisor.
"I'm excited about the changes we've made to our hockey operations staff," said Canucks president Trevor Linden in a release. "We emphasize forward-thinking in every area of our team and when you combine the talent and experience of this group with that progressive mindset, we're optimistic about the future."
