The expansion Vegas Golden Knights will resume their chase for the Stanley Cup when they play Game 1 of the Western Conference Final at either the Winnipeg Jets or Nashville Predators on Saturday (7 p.m. ET; NBC, TVAS).
The Golden Knights became the third team in NHL history to win two playoff series in its inaugural season when they completed a six-game, second-round series victory against the San Jose Sharks with a 3-0 win on Sunday. The Jets and Predators will play Game 7 of their Western Conference Second Round on Thursday in Nashville (8 p.m. ET; NBC, CBC, SN, TVAS).
In the East, the Tampa Bay Lightning, who are in the conference final for the third time in four seasons, will host the Washington Capitals in Game 1 at Amalie Arena on Friday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, TVAS). The Lightning defeated the Boston Bruins in five games. Washington, which eliminated the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 6 on Monday, is in the conference final for the first time since 1998.
