The Launch is ready to take off again.
Following a breakthrough debut season of the reality music series, CTV has announced that the singing competition will return, with filming to begin this fall in Toronto.
In Season 1, the show paired celebrity mentors with music mogul Scott Borchetta — who discovered Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line and others — and a roster of songwriters and producers like busbee (Pink's Try) and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder (Beyonce, Adele).
The mentors included Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx, Fergie, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Boy George, Alessia Cara and Shania Twain.
The show's producers screened over 10,000 contestants from across Canada before narrowing down the list to 30 – with five artists appearing each week.
The series' singles amassed more than 12 million streams internationally to date — including Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine's platinum certified Ain't Easy.
Season 2 mentors haven't been announced, but aspiring musicians can prep their auditions by visiting CTV.ca/The Launch as well as The Launch's social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. ET on June 11.
