{allcanada} Raps get Anunoby back against Pacers

Toronto Raptors rookie O.G. Anunoby is back.

Coach Dwane Casey confirmed to reporters that the rookie forward would return to the lineup on Thursday evening against the Indiana Pacers after spending the last seven games sidelined with an ankle injury.

The 23rd overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Indiana has started in 48 of the 60 games he's appeared in this season. In 20.5 minutes a night, the 20-year-old Anunoby is averaging 5.9 points and 2.4 rebounds and is shooting .453 from the field.

The team will be without the services of Norm Powell, though.

Powell started the last four games in place of Anunoby, but picked up an ankle injury on Wednesday. Postmedia's Mike Ganter reports that the third-year player out of UCLA is currently in a walking boot.

In 58 games this season, Powell is averaging 5.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 16.1 minutes a night.

The Raptors (50-17) hold a four-and-a-half-game lead over the Boston Celtics for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
