The Vancouver Whitecaps have acquired centre back Jose Aja from the Orlando City SC, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.

Orlando City will receive $125,000 in Targeted Allocation Monday. Orlando will also receive more on certain conditions.

If Aja is on the Whitecaps roster next season, Orlando will receive an additional $100,00 towards TAM as well as a 2021 natural second round draft pick.

If Aja remains with the team by 2020, Orland will also retain a percentage of any future transfers of the player outside the MLS.
