The Edmonton Eskimos have parted ways with three-time CFL All-Star Adarius Bowman.

The team has released the 32-year-old wide receiver after seven seasons with the team.

Bowman struggled in 2017, posting just 534 yards on 45 catches over 12 games. He topped 1,300 yards in each of the previous three seasons and led the league with 1,761 yards in 2016.

The slotback finished fifth on the Eskimos in receiving last season, behind Brandon Zylstra, D'haquille Williams, Vidal Hazelton and Derel Walker. Zylstra, who led the entire CFL in receiving, has since signed with the Minnesota Vikings.

Also on Monday, the Eskimos signed Hazelton to an extension through the 2018 season.  He caught 55 passes for 709 yards and four touchdowns in 11 games last season.

The 30-year-old owns 152 catches for 1,873 yards and 13 touchdowns over three seasons since debuting in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts in 2015.
