The Vancouver Canucks have acquired forward Brendan Leipsic from the Vegas Golden Knights for defenceman Philip Holm.
Leipsic has two goals and 13 points in 44 games this season after being selected from the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL Expansion Draft.
The 23-year-old played major junior in Portland for the WHL Winterhawks.
He's earning $650,000 this season and next.
Holm has spent almost the entire season with AHL Utica, totalling 11 goals and 29 points in 42 games.
The 26-year-old will be a restricted free agent this off-season, and carries a $925,000 cap hit.
He was signed by the Canucks as an undrafted free agent this past May.
