Re: [SurroundSound] Digest for surroundsound@googlegroups.com - 1 update in 1 topic

I don't know what apple/android devices you might have.  I use an iPad mini and a few DLNA streaming apps.  If your kit is DNLA compliant you can probably just pull from NAS and render on OPPO.   Simple searching of indexed files, and select to play.

I'm symbology 415, playing to Sony blu-ray, tv, or soundbar.  Effortless and lazy.

Thanks Lokks, For me, I live in a smallish apartment with my family and
don't really have much room for hardware. Controlling the NAS (it sits on a
bookshelf) from my MacBook is convenient. Another thing - streaming music
from my QNAP NAS is such a pain (Twonky server to my Oppo over ethernet - I
need to use the Oppo UI which is a slow process). I'd love to figure out an
easier way to stream direct from NAS.

I'm interested in the Dune players, the Solo 4K suppouts BluRay and DVDV
iso playback! I'm assuming this works over network as well...sounds like a
nice item.
